Quattlebaum’s art is a wild ramble through nature, music, and storytelling, blending the whimsical with the wonderfully weird. A lifelong creator, his artistic roots trace back to building theater sets and crafting puppets in his youth, sparking a love for bold designs and intricate details. Today, his work draws inspiration from his Southern upbringing, years spent guiding whitewater rapids, and a deep connection to the natural world. Mushrooms, birds, folklore, and music weave their way into his pieces, creating a style that feels both earthy and otherworldly, where banjos sprout from mossy logs and herons strut across cosmic swamps.

As a digital illustrator and large-scale woodworker, Quattlebaum’s work has adorned festival posters, band merch, and his own Banjo Pilgrim product line. He’s crafted massive plywood art pieces and even built a 13-foot rainbow trout puppet for the Big Ponderoo Music and Arts Festival. Whether designing a delicate mushroom study or a bold festival poster, his art invites you into a world where nature and imagination collide.
