Cascadian Krampus Club

Bend, Oregon’s Naughty Holiday Secret

Every December, the streets of Bend sparkle with cheer, but something darker stirs in the pines. Enter the Cascadian Krampus Club, a merry band of mischief-makers dragging claws and bells through the snow to keep holiday spirits just weird enough.

Rooted in the wild Alpine folklore of Krampus—St. Nicholas’s horned, hairy sidekick from the old country—we’re putting a Pacific Northwest spin on an ancient tradition. Our Krampus is part goat, part forest spirit, part chaos gremlin—and all heart. Think moss-draped horns, handmade fur suits, and glowing eyes. We roam parades, ski lodges, and late-night parties, bringing theatrical thrills, spooky fun, and plenty of photo ops for the bold.

We’re not here to scare the kids (too much). We’re here to light up the long nights with something unexpected: a walking celebration of myth, mischief, and mountain magic.

This is where winter folklore gets weird again.

Respect the Roots

The Krampus tradition comes from the snowy mountains of Central Europe—Austria, Germany, and beyond. We honor that folklore while making something distinctly our own: a Cascadian creature of forest, fur, and firelight. Our goal is to celebrate winter’s deeper stories and create immersive, respectful, wild-hearted performances that spark connection and laughter.
